Briget Heidmous is an artist and curator living and working in Colorado Springs.
Briget explores the structure of ecology employing scale as illusion in encaustic, drawing, photography, and painting.
She has shown extensively at her alma mater, Hastings College, as well as Colorado venues such as the Manitou Art Center and the Machine Shop, where she completed an artist residency in 2014.
Since 2012, Briget, 28, has worked at both IDEA Space @ Colorado College and GOCA @ University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She is currently Assistant Curator at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. She has worked with such artists and performers as: Senga Nengudi, Maz Jobrani and Basim Magdy.
