Briget Heidmous [ b. 1981, Colorado Springs, Colorado ] is an artist and curator. Her work is research based and expands on the aesthetics and principles of theoretical physics and physical manifestations of trauma. From winter 2013 to summer 2017 she was Assistant Curator for the InterDisciplinary Experimental Arts program at Colorado College. Fall of 2017 she was Assistant Curator for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. She has presented work in five solo exhibitions in Nebraska and Colorado. She has been artist in resident nationally at Tyler School of Art and The Machine Shop and internationally at Burren College of Art.
She works on a collaborative visual poetry project with Jessy Randall. Works have been published on multiple platforms with national and international viewership.
